Cindy Hope was born and raised in South Africa before immigrating to the United States as a teenager, where she now proudly calls home.

After graduating from Oral Roberts University, she spent 14 years as an International Art Auctioneer, traveling to over 100 countries and becoming one of the top-ranked female auctioneers in the world. A pioneer for women in her field, Cindy combined her love for travel and excellence in business while building a globally recognized career.

Although she grew up as a pastor’s daughter, Cindy never intended to enter full-time ministry—until a life-changing encounter with God in 2009 redirected her path.

By 2015, she was ordained as a pastor and became the Dean of Promise Bible College, and in 2023, she stepped into the role of Senior Pastor of Promise Church in San Diego.

Today, Cindy is known for her authentic, Spirit-led teaching and her passion for helping people encounter God in a real and transformative way.

With a deep heart for the lost and broken, Cindy ministers with compassion, drawing from her own life experiences as a testimony of God’s redemption.

She continues to travel and speak internationally, equipping others to overcome their past, discover their God-given purpose, and walk boldly in their calling. Alongside her husband, Terry Gaasch, who is CFO of Promise Church, Cindy is committed to raising up passionate believers who will impact the world through the power and presence of Jesus.
